Today Telekom Slovenije, d.d., signed the agreement on the acquisition of a 100% share of Debitel telekomunikacije, d.d., with the sellers ACH, d.d., Ljubljana, Adria Mobil, d.o.o., and Svema Trade, d.o.o. The deal will be concluded after obtaining approval from competition protection authorities. Until the conclusion of the transaction Telekom Slovenije, d.d., will not reveal any further details, including the purchase amount.

Debitel telekomunikacije, d.d., was founded in November 1998, and has 90,000 users who show a high level of loyalty and satisfaction with the Company’s services. The company has had stable operations since its establishment, has no debt, and is focused on development. With the purchase of the 100% share of Debitel telekomunikacije, d.d., Telekom Slovenije, d.d., will strengthen the synergies between the companies, and continue providing to Debitel users the highest quality services in the Slovenian market in the future.

In accordance with the strategy for the Slovenian market the future development of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., will be based on cross-selling services, developing new services and subscription models, differentiation, and the offer of exclusive content, while at the same time the company will continue improving the user experience, and providing standardized cloud services, and a comprehensive range of ICT services even for the most demanding business users. The highest quality of services will remain the competitive advantage in the future, and future development will continue to be based on the high standards of social responsibility and sustainable development.
