Today the traditional investment conference of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange “Slovenia Investor Day” is being held in Ljubljana. Every year the event attracts a high number of investors to one-on-one meetings with the most prominent companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. Today, eight Prime Market companies are being showcased: Gorenje Intereuropa, Krka, Luka Koper, Petrol, Pozavarovalnica Sava, Telekom Slovenije and Zavarovalnica Triglav.

This year again the interest of investors and analysts is very high as the Ljubljana Stock Exchange received a total of staggering 107 requests for meetings with eight companies. The companies will hold as many as 89 individual and joint one-on-one meetings. The event is being attended by 19 investment companies and banks and 38 analysts and investors.

For this occasion, Mr Aleš Ipavec, President of the Management Board of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, stated, “I am happy to see that the interest of investors in Slovenian capital market companies is increasing and the high interest of investors confirms that the Slovenian market is interesting and that the investors see opportunities and potential in the market. Such events are a perfect opportunity to showcase good companies and I am certain the event will facilitate many a quality investment decision.”

The Ljubljana Stock Exchange regularly performs activities to increase inventors’ interest. The fact that every year there is more demand for meetings with the Prime Market companies is proof that these activities are successful and desired. Therefore, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange will continue with these activities also in the future.
