Today, as part of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange Investment Conference, that was held at the Austria Trend hotel, Ljubljana Stock Exchange awarded the listed companies and member firm that performed the best in a one-year period between 16 November 2017 and 15 November 2018.

The winning listed companies had to prove themselves the best by performing exceptionally in various statistical areas in the observed year: turnover, price increase, increase in turnover, number of trading days. The winning member firm came on top by gathering the most points by totalling the values in the following categories: executed turnover and transactions, increase in turnover, providing liquidity provider services, making of analyses and promotion of the listed companies and market.

This year for the first time ever Ljubljana Stock Exchange awarded the listed company with the best performing share of the MTF SI ENTER market. Thus, the traditional array of awards, the best Prime Market Share, the best Standard Market Share and Member Firm of the Year awards, has been expanded by the new award best SI ENTER Market Share.

The success of the Slovenian capital market is dependent on the success of listed companies and member firms, their reputation and their activities for promotion. That is why, by conferring the awards, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange wishes to recognise the most successful companies and member firms.

This year's winners are:

• Prime Market Share of the Year: Krka, d.d., Novo mesto

• Standard Market Share of the Year: Cinkarna Celje, d. d., Celje

• SI ENTER Market Share of the Year: Delavska hranilnica d. d. Ljubljana
• Member Firm of the Year: ALTA Invest, investicijske storitve d. d.
