Notification on major holding of voting rights

Pursuant to Paragraph 1, Article 10 of the Takeover Act (Official Journal RS No. 79/2006; Zpre-1), the company Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., was notified on September 11th 2007 by the company Istrabenz, d.d., Koper, that on that same day, September 11th 2007, the latter company acquired 472,915 shares of the issuer Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., Dunajska cesta 107, Ljubljana, with the code MELR, and disposed of 236,000 shares of the issuer with the code MELR. The acquired number of shares represents 12.56 percent of total voting rights based on issuer's shares, while the number of shares disposed of represents 6.27 percent of total voting rights based on the issuer's shares.

Before this transaction, the company Istrabenz, d.d., Koper, owned 448,797 ordinary registered shares of the issuer (or 11.92 percent of total voting rights based on the issuer's shares); after the transactions listed in the previous paragraph herein, the said company holds 685,712 shares or 18.21 percent of total voting rights based on the issuer's shares.
