Verdict in the dispute between Janez Suša, PhD, against Krka, d. d., Novo mesto

On 3 April 2008 the District Court in Ljubljana passed a judgment in the lawsuit brought by the plaintiff Janez Suša, PhD, against the defendant Krka, d.d., Novo mesto (hereafter Krka), whereby the court decided that Krka was liable for the damages and the associated interest resulted from a premature termination of the license agreement concluded between plaintiff and third party, granting such third party a license to use plaintiff's patent which protects inductive radial-discharge funnel-shaped nozzle. Krka is liable for the damages in the amount of EUR 942,032 with associated interest. The court found Krka also liable to pay future damages in annual instalments of EUR 153,388, with the last instalment due on 1 August 2016. Krka received the verdict on 7 May 2008.

Krka will appeal to the verdict within legal time frame and will form the provisions in the adequate amount.
