Based on the article 247 of the Companies Act (ZGD-1) the 14th Annual General Meeting on 2 July 2009 authorized the Management Board for the acquisition of own shares.

The total share of the own shares, including the existing own shares, must not exceed 10% of the share capital, which corresponds to 3,542,612 shares.

Krka will commence with acquisition of own shares in accordance with this AGM authorization.

Shares will be acquired on the regulated market at the respective market price and under the terms, that will not have an influence on the prevailing market conditions.

The public will be regularly informed about these acquisitions of own shares.
