Pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, d.d, and the relevant legislation, the company Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., hereby informs the shareholders and the public of the following:


Yesterday, the company Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., received a letter by the Consortium of Sellers of the majority package of shares (the letter is in English, the translation to Slovene language is informal). We enclose our reply.

With regard to the provision of adequate information for shareholders and the public, we announce that the next meeting of the Management Board of the company Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., is convened for Wednesday, 11 January 2012. Before that date, the Management Board in connection with the sales process and any other related matters will not create any new positions or actions, but this will be done if necessary at that meeting. The shareholders and the public will be informed about major conclusions and observations, as to date.


This announcement will be published on the company’s website at www.mercator.si as of 20 December 2011, and will remain posted for a period of at least five years.
