Pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, d.d, and the relevant legislation, the company Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., hereby informs the shareholders and the public of the following:

The Amended and Restated Agreement relating to Pre-Negotiation Agreement became effective as at June 28, 2013, and it has been signed by companies within the Mercator Group and bank lenders. On this basis the Mercator Group and its lenders will continue discussing the long term financing structure of the Mercator Group. A long term solution is expected to be reached by December 31, 2013. A part of the agreement is postponement of payment of all principal payments of credit obligations towards stated banks falling due up to December 31, 2013 until this date.

This agreement provides a solid foundation for the Mercator Group and its stakeholders to achieve a long term and sustainable solution for the Group’s financing structure.

This announcement will be published on the company’s website at www.mercator.si as of July 1, 2013, and will remain posted for a period of at least five years.
