On July 31, 2013 Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., issued commercial papers with maturity on December 20, 2013 in total amount of EUR 6.5 mn which bear an interest rate of 4.92 % p.a. The total issue consist of 6,552 units of commercial papers with a denomination of EUR 1,000.00 per unit. They were paid in by 27 investors. Commercial papers are issued in the central registry of KDD – Central Securities Clearing Corporation with the identification code MEL07 and are freely transferrable.

Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., applied for the admission of the commercial papers to trading on the regulated market of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and trading on the regulated market will presumably start tomorrow, August 14, 2013 pending a decision of the Ljubljana stock exchange.

Commercial papers have been issued for the purpose of managing the maturity of the Issuer's assets and liabilities.

Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., has hired ALTA Invest, investicijske storitve, d.d., Železna cesta 18, Ljubljana for advisory regarding the issuance of the commercial papers in book-entry form together with their entry into the Central Securities Clearing Corporation's central registry, and the admission of the commercial papers to the regulated market.
