Pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, d.d, and the relevant legislation, the company Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., hereby informs the shareholders and the public of the following:

Mercator is pleased to announce that a significant milestone has been achieved in the financial restructuring of Group Mercator. Creditors gave an almost unanimous support to the proposed financial restructuring. The Mercator Group has already obtained preliminary confirmations of accession from the remaining creditors whose consent is necessary to implement the restructuring; the formal accession of those last remaining creditors are expected in following days after the completion of their internal approval procedures. Until the implementation of final accessions all the previous agreements with banks are still valid.

This marks the successful conclusion of a key phase in Mercator’s financial restructuring which will provide financial stability to the Mercator Group and its further operations without disruptions.

This announcement will be published on the company’s website at www.mercator.si as of April 1, 2014, and will remain posted for a period of at least five years.
