On July 2, 2014, the company Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., received a notification from the company Agrokor, d.d., of takeover intent for shares of the company Mercator, d.d.

As at the day of announcement of the takeover intent, the company Agrokor, d.d., was holding 2,000,278 shares of the company Mercator, d.d., which represents 53.12% of all shares of Mercator, d.d. The takeover intent by the company Agrokor, d.d., for the shares of the company Mercator, d.d., refers to the remaining 1,765,083 outstanding shares of the company Mercator, d.d.
