Review of Ljubljana Stock Exchange liquidity criteria

The Ljubljana Stock Exchange has, on the basis of the Instructions for Index, Liquidity Criteria, Price List and other Statistical Data, reviewed the securities traded on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange as to their compliance with liquidity criteria. The periodic review of the regulated market securities as to their meeting the set criteria encompassed the period from 1 August 2013 to 31 July 2014 and was carried out on 19 August 2013. Instructions for Index, Liquidity Criteria, Price List and other Statistical Data state that the auction trading method includes all securities from the Entry Market and all debt securities. The continuous trading method includes the following securities: constituents of the SBI TOP index, Prime Market shares, open-end fund investment coupons, closed-end fund shares, investment certificates, and securities with a liquidity provider. The classification of all other securities depends on compliance with the criteria.

Following the review of liquidity criteria, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange adopted the decision, in compliance to point 2.4. of the Instructions for Indices, Liquidity Criteria, Price List and other Statistical Data the transfer of securities to the continuous and auction trading methods based on the review will be carried out:

  • Shares of Letrika (IALG) will be transferred to the continuous trading method and
  • Shares of Helios (HDOG) will be transferred to the auction trading method.

The classification of shares into continuous and auction trading methods in compliance with the special measure will become effective and will enter into use on 1 October 2014.
