In accordance with the provisions of Ljubljana Stock Exchange Rules, and the applicable legislation, the Bank Assets Management Company, Davčna ulica 1, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, is publishing the following announcement:

The Bank Assets Management Company, PLC, Ljubljana (from hereinafter: BAMC) would like to inform the general public that it shall not be able to release the audited annual report for  2015, in accordance with the Article 110 of the Financial Instruments Market Act, due to the revised viewpoint of  external auditor on preparation of consolidated financial statements of BAMC.

The Company and its Board of Directors were on 19 April 2016, just few days before completion of the audit, informed by the Independent Auditor, that after the internal consultation, they changed their view point and that BAMC does not qualify as an investment entity, eligible to prepare only nonconsolidated financial statements. This changed viewpoint is just the opposite of the unqualified opinion of the same auditor issued on 2014 financial statements, and on which basis the preparation and audit process of 2015 financial statements was designed and performed.

Due to changed viewpoint of Independent Auditor just before the end of the audit of financial statements the Board decided to apply all the necessary activities for successful completion of the audit which in addition requires preparation of consolidated financial statements as well.

The date of the preparation of consolidated financial statements at the moment cannot be precisely determined as well as the date of Independent Auditors’ report cannot be predicted. The interested public will be updated immediately after obtaining the relevant information.

The BAMC shall, once it has received the report of the independent auditor regarding the audit of BAMC's financial accounts for 2015, publically release BAMC's 2015 Annual Report.
