Pursuant to paragraph 1 of Article 17 of the Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse (market abuse regulation) and repealing Directive 2003/6/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC, Article 136 of the Financial Instruments Market Act, Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the valid legislation, Telekom Slovenije, d.d., Cigaletova 15, Ljubljana, hereby publishes the following notification:

The Supervisory Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., discussed the report on the January–March 2018 results of the Telekom Slovenije Group and company Telekom Slovenije, d.d., at its 11th regular meeting, held on Wednesday, 25 April 2018.

The Telekom Slovenije Group generated €183.4 million in operating revenue in the first quarter of 2018, which is one percent more year-on-year. Sales revenue amounted to €182.2 million, which is 1% or €2.3 million more than in the same period last year. Sales revenue increased primarily due to higher revenue from the retail mobile and fixed market. Telekom Slovenije, d.d., generated €164.7 million in sales revenue in the first quarter of 2018, and €165.2 million in operating revenue, which is on par with the previous year.

Telekom Slovenije Group’s earnings before, interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in the first three months of 2018 amounted to €52.5 million, which is a 3% increase year-on-year. EBITDA margin stood at 28.8%. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) reached €10.3 million, which is one percent more than in the first quarter of 2017.

Following the calculation of corporate income tax and deferred taxes, the Telekom Slovenije Group disclosed a net profit of €9.7 million in the first three months of 2018, which is comparable with the 2017 results.

Telekom Slovenije Group’s investments in the first three months of the year amounted to €23.4 million. Investment were made primarily in the modernization, strengthening and development of broadband fiber optic and 4G mobile networks.
