Growth of key performance indicators of the Intereuropa Group in the Nine Months 2018

In accordance with the provisions of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange Rules (Ljubljanska borza d.d., Ljubljana) and the applicable legislation in force, the Company INTEREUROPA d.d., Koper is issuing this release:

Koper, 22 November 2018. In today's session, the Supervisory Board was informed on the unaudited report of the Intereuropa Group and Intereuropa d.d. for the term January-September 2018. The Intereuropa Group recorded 8-percent growth in sales turnover at EUR 119.2 million in the reporting nine months. The growing trend was recorded by all our business areas. The Group closed the reporting term with a net profit of EUR 4.2 million, which was 24 percent better than in comparable term last year.

In the favourable economic situation of the first three quarterly terms of this year, the Intereuropa Group intensified its sales activities and generated sales revenues amounting to EUR 119.2 million, which means an 8-percent growth over the figure achieved a year ago. The highest growth was achieved by the Intercontinental Transport Area (13%), followed by Logistics Solutions (8%) and Land Transport (7%).

In the reporting term, the largest contribution to the growth in sales revenue was made by the Parent Company Intereuropa d.d. (10 percent up). High growth rates were also achieved in Croatia (11% up), in Bosnia and Herzegovina (12% up) and in Kosovo (15% up).

The Intereuropa Group exceeded both the operating result (EBIT) and the net profit of the comparable term last year. The Operating Result came to EUR 6.1 million, or 5 percent higher than in the comparable term last year. The Group closed the reporting term with a net profit of EUR 4.2 million, which was 24 percent better than in comparable term last year, and 5 percent above the target.

The Group continued to de-leverage: the net financial debt as at the cut-off date of the third quarterly term was EUR 60.5 million, which is 3.9 million less than at the half-year 2018 and 6.7 million (or 10 percent) less than at the year-end 2017.
