As of 24 April 2019, Triglav Skladi, a Triglav Group member, has become the owner of ALTA Skladi, družba za upravljanje. An agreement on its purchase was signed in September last year under certain suspensive conditions relating to obtaining the relevant authorisations of the competent regulatory bodies, which are now fulfilled. Through its two asset management companies – Triglav Skladi and ALTA Skladi – Triglav Group is becoming the leading provider of mutual funds in the Slovene market (holding a 34% market share). It manages assets worth over EUR 930 million in a total of 36 mutual funds, while total assets under management, including discretionary mandate assets, amount close to 1 EUR billion. Its asset management services are provided to more than 120,000 clients, including small investors, large individual clients, legal entities and institutional investors.

The increase in the total volume of assets under management is a commitment and a strong basis for further professional and responsible asset management and wealth accumulation of assets of all clients who have entrusted their assets to both asset management companies to invest them in mutual funds. Moreover, this facilitates further development of top-quality services tailored to clients’ individual needs and the use of comprehensive solutions in the context of Triglav Group.

By acquiring ALTA Skladi, Triglav Group, the leading regional insurance/financial group, further strengthens its assets management activity, which is its second strategic business pillar in addition to insurance. The higher volume of assets under management, the higher number of clients, to whom the Group provides its quality and comprehensive services, and the synergistic effects of the increased volume of business are a reliable basis for additional effective development of the Group’s asset management business.
