Today the traditional Investment Conference of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange is being held in Ljubljana, which demonstrates great interest of regional and international investors in Slovenian listed companies. Six Slovenian listed companies of the highest quality are participating in the Conference: Gorenje, Krka, Luka Koper, Petrol, Pozavarovalnica Sava and Zavarovalnica Triglav.

The event is being attended by 14 investment companies and banks and 31 analysts and investors from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Malta and Dubai will hold as many as 65 one-on-one meetings.

For this occasion Mr Andrej Šketa, President of the Management Board of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, stated, “The Ljubljana Stock Exchange is noticing a high level of interest in the Slovenian companies. SBI TOP index gained 23% in the first 10 months of 2014 and the turnover almost doubled compared to last year. The interest of investors is indeed quite lively and the interest in meeting the companies is also a proof of that. We are also very happy that the Slovenian listed companies invest a lot of energy in active communication with their existing as well as potential investors on local as well as international conferences, thereby strengthening trust of investors. From 8.30 am until 5.30 pm the six companies will have altogether as many as 65 meetings practically without respite, where I am sure they will present the most important information, which is of interest to investors.”

The Ljubljana Stock Exchange will continue with activities to increase investors’ interest and to further strengthen the existing trust of local as well as international investors.
