Pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, d.d, and the relevant legislation, the company Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., hereby informs the shareholders and the public of the following:


On March 9th, 2011, Mercator Group concluded Schuldscheindarlehensvertrag (Assignable Loan Agreement) with Deutsche bank Aktiengesellschaft, acting as arranger and paying agent in amount EUR 58 m. Schuldschein is a loan instrument, used for many years in the German-speaking world. In essence Schuldschein is a bilateral loan, privately placed, unlisted and governed by German law.

Mercator Group concluded such loan for the first time in its history by which the Group diversified its financial sources and continued with the restructuring of short-term obligations into long-term financial commitment. The loan is taken out on unsecured basis with a maturity of three years and bullet repayment. Conclusion of this loan shows that Mercator Group enjoys great trust and reputation in international financial markets.
