Today the first joint Investment Conference of the Ljubljana and Zagreb Stock Exchanges is being held in Zagreb, which demonstrates great interest of regional and international investors in Slovenian and Croatian listed companies. Seven Croatian and seven Slovenian listed companies of the highest quality are participating in the Conference:  Atlantic Grupa, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Gorenje, Hrvatski Telekom, INA - Industrija nafte, Končar - Elektroindustrija, Krka, Ledo, Luka Koper, Petrol, Podravka, Pozavarovalnica Sava, Telekom Slovenije in Zavarovalnica Triglav.

The event is being attended by 24 investment companies and banks and 48 analysts and investors will hold as many as 150 one-on-one meetings.

For this occasion Mrs. Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, stated, “The enormous success of the joint Conference is proof that Slovenia and Croatia have many good and interesting products to offer to investors. Such an event is invaluable for recognising the region’s attractiveness for investors. We will certainly endeavour to turn such meetings of companies and investors into traditional events.”

Mr Andrej Šketa, President of the Management Board of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange further added, “On the Ljubljana Stock Exchange international investors account for 48% of total turnover and Croatian institutional investors are among the most important actors. This Conference is certainly the most successful conference we have had thus far, both by the number of meetings as well as by the quality structure of international investors.”

The Zagreb and Ljubljana Stock Exchanges will continue with individual and joint activities to increase investors’ interest and to further strengthen the existing trust of local as well as international investors.
