Today the second joint Ljubljana and Zagreb Stock Exchanges Investor Day is being held in Zagreb.

Seven Croatian and six Slovenian listed companies of the highest quality are participating in the Conference: Atlantic Grupa, Gorenje, Granolio, Hrvatski Telekom, Krka, Ledo, Luka Koper, Petrol, Podravka, Pozavarovalnica Sava, Tankerska Next Generation, Zavarovalnica Triglav and Valamar Riviera.

The event is being attended by 24 investment companies and banks and 48 analysts and investors. There were 175 requests for meetings and the companies will hold as many as 142 individual and group meetings.

For this occasion Mrs. Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, stated, “Bolstered by the success of the last year's first joint conference, we decided to continue this modality of cooperation, which proved to be a reasonable decision because this year we had almost 25% more requests for meetings by investors. This shows that the investors recognize the potential of Slovenian and Croatian capital markets and we are confident that this event will contribute to the further development of both markets and lead to many quality investment decisions.”

Mr Andrej Šketa, President of the Management Board of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange further added, “Increased interest of investors proves that both markets are attractive and interesting, even more so when they are showcased together. The growing interest of investors is also a clear signal to all other companies in the region that they can count on the support and cooperation of new investors in their business plans. This is after all the key precondition for new projects, creating jobs and economic growth.”

The Zagreb and Ljubljana Stock Exchanges will continue with individual and joint activities to increase investors’ interest and to further strengthen the existing trust of local as well as international investors.
