Trading suspension in bank shares and subordinated bank bonds

For protection of investors’ interests the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on 2 December 2013 temporarily suspended trading in the following bank shares and subordinated bank bonds listed on the regulated securities market:  

  • Securities of the issuer Abanka Vipa d. d.:
    • Common shares with the trading code ABKN listed on the Standard Market;
  • Securities of the issuer Banka Celje:
    • Subordinated bonds with trading codes BCE10, BCE11, BCE12 and BCE16 listed on the Bond Market segment;
  • Securities of the issuer Factor banka, d. d.:
    • Subordinated bonds with trading codes FB09, FB16, FB22 in FB24 listed on the Bond Market segment;
  • Securities of the issuer Nova KBM, d. d.:
    • Common shares with the trading code KBMR listed on the Prime Market,
    • Subordinated bonds with the trading code KBM9 listed on the Bond Market segment;
  • Securities of the issuer NLB, d. d:
    • Subordinated bonds with the trading code NLB26 listed on the Bond Market segment;
  • Securities of the issuer Probanka, d. d.:
    • Preferred shares with the trading code PRBP listed on the Entry Market,
    • Subordinated bonds with trading codes PRB9, PRB11 in PRB12 listed on the Bond Market segment;

LJSE assessed that not all conditions for a fair, orderly and efficient trading in the above mentioned securities are satisfied. LJSE assessed that the key information which would enable an average investor to make an informed investment decisions regarding the above listed securities has not been provided. Thus, circumstances justify protection of investors’ interests.

Temporary trading suspension in the above listed securities will last until a relevant public announcement of issuers is made or until LJSE decides to resume trading on the basis of a reasoned request of issuers for resumption of trading.

LJSE temporarily suspended trading within the framework of activities of operating the regulated market and in accordance with its tasks and competencies based on the Markets in Financial Instruments Act. LJSE has no other or more detailed information regarding the process or time schedules of the banking system restructuring.
