Pursuant to relevant legislation, the company Gorenje, d.d., Velenje, Slovenia, hereby informs the shareholders and the public of the following:

On August 23, 2012, Management Board and Supervisory Board of Gorenje, d.d., received Mr. Peter Kraljič's irrevocable statement of resignation from the position of Supervisory Board member, as of August 23, 2012, for personal reasons.

As a Supervisory Board member, he represented the interests of the shareholders, the region, and employees; his four-year term started on July 19, 2010. In the period since, he contributed his outstanding expert knowledge and vast international experience to work with other Supervisory Board members and the Management Board and contribute to the upgrade of the Gorenje's strategy and corporate governance, and the Group's transition to an international corporation. After two years of full engagement, he decided to prematurely end his term for personal reasons. He also conveyed his gratitude to Gorenje shareholders for the opportunity to perform such a task, and to the Management and Supervisory Board for cooperation.

Upon leaving Gorenje Supervisory Board, Mr. Kraljič made the following statement: »It was an honour to represent not only the interests of the shareholders, but also those of employees, the region, and our entire economy, at Gorenje which is Slovenia's largest exporter and the most internationalized enterprise. I am convinced that development of all aspects of strategy, regular operations, and corporate government which Supervisory Board members steered through a constant dialogue with the Management Board and Supervisory Board, provided solid foundations for Gorenje and that the Group is on the way of successful further development despite the exceptionally harsh conditions in the world, the region, and in the home appliances industry.«
