PAL-75/10 Ljubljanska borza, d. d., Ljubljana INFO STORAGE operational
INFO STORAGE, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange information system for the central storage of regulated information published by all LJSE-listed companies, has become operational today. Listed companies must publicly disclose so-called regulated information pursuant to the provisions of the Slovene Markets in Financial Instruments Act (ZTFI), and the EU legislation imposes on each member state to establish a central officially appointed mechanism for the publication and storage of such information. In Slovenia this mechanism is INFO STORAGE, a joint project of the Slovene Securities Market Agency and LJSE, which operates it.
INFO STORAGE is available on the public website http://www.oam.si, which provides the interested public with access to all regulated information published by listed companies from 1 April 2010. Announcements will be available in INFO STORAGE from 8.30 a.m. the following working day after their publication at the selected publication venue, such as the central information dissemination portal SEOnet, daily newspapers or websites.
INFO STORAGE is a reliable and, above all, the official access point to all regulated information published by Slovene listed companies. In the future it will also be integrated into the pan-European network of national central storage mechanisms, the main objective of which is to provide investors with easy access to financial information about all EU listed companies from a single source. INFO STORAGE is an important gain for Slovene companies as well, since it makes their compliance with reporting obligations imposed by the Securities Market Agency and LJSE easier and faster.
