Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and valid legislation, Intereuropa, d. d., Koper hereby publishes the following announcement:

At its meeting held today, on 30 August 2023, the Supervisory Board of Intereuropa, d. d. appointed Mr Borut Flander to serve as the new President of the Management Board of Intereuropa, d. d., who will commence his four-year term of office on 1 November 2023. Borut Flander has spent most of his career focusing on the comprehensive strategic restructuring and business sales development of the companies he has worked for. Most recently, he was the managing director of Kovinoplastika Lož, d. o. o.

The other members of the Management Board of Intereuropa, d. d. are Mr Aleš Klavžar (Vice-President of the Management Board) and Ms. Blanka Česnik Wolf (Workers’ Director).

In the first half of 2023, based on unaudited figures, the Intereuropa Group generated EUR 95.0 million in sales revenue and EUR 8.2 million in EBITDA, an increase of 11% relative to the first half of last year. The operating profit (EBIT) of EUR 4.4 million generated this year exceeded both the planned figures and last year's figure by 5%. Despite the slowdown in economic activity and still relatively high inflation, the Intereuropa Group closed the first half of this year with a positive operating profit of EUR 2.7 million. This is 8% lower than planned, mainly due to higher financing costs.

The Group’s net debt amounted to EUR 38.1 million at the end of the first half of 2023, a decrease of EUR 4.4 million relative to the end of 2022, mainly due to a decrease in financial liabilities.

Through increased sales activities, Intereuropa Group will continue to strengthen its stable market position in all the markets in which it operates. By being responsive and adapting to all business changes it will provide the highest level of logistics services to its business partners.
