Based on the article 247 of the Companies Act the 16th Annual General Meeting on 7 July 2011 authorized the Management Board for the acquisition of own shares. The total share of the own shares, including the existing own shares, must not exceed 10% of the share capital, which corresponds to 3,542,612 shares.

Krka has started with acquisition of own shares in accordance with this AGM authorization. Shares are being acquired on the regulated market at the respective market price and under the terms, that do not have an influence on the prevailing market conditions.

Krka is informing the public that from 11 July 2011 up to and including 14 July 2011 Krka acquired 11,897 own shares in the total value of EUR 713,542 on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. NLB d. d., Ilirika borznoposredniška hiša d. d. and Certius borznoposredniška hiša d. o. o. were the brokers in these transactions.

The total number of own shares prior to these transactions was 1,854,362, representing 5.234% of all shares issued.

The total number of own shares after these transactions is 1,866,259 representing 5.268% of all shares issued.
