Starting on 1 June 2012, listed companies will be able to post announcements on SEOnet continuously between 8.15 a.m. and 4 p.m. (and not only during two separated sessions in the morning and afternoon, as was the case thus far). In the future, announcements will therefore be possible during trading hours at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange as well.

With this change of its information portal publication schedule, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange is copying the established practices in foreign markets. With a view to preventing unnecessary disturbances in the market, however, the LJSE advises that periodic information and other regulated information the public announcement of which may be anticipated in advance continue to be posted outside trading hours. Also similar to other European market operators, the LJSE temporarily suspends trading only in cases of extreme changes to the traded companies’ status or operations, and it will continue with this practice in the future.

In September 2012 the LJSE will introduce another change to the works of the SEO system, making the posting of announcements possible for listed companies in the afternoon even after 4 p.m.
