Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the valid legislation, Telekom Slovenije, d.d., Cigaletova 15, Ljubljana, hereby publishes the following notification:

At its 3rd regular meeting on Monday, 3 October 2022, the Telekom Slovenije Supervisory Board appointed Boštjan Košak as the new President of the Management Board. Boštjan Košak shall begin his four-year term as the President of the Management Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., on 4 October 2022.

Boštjan Košak holds a university degree in economy, and has over 25 years of work experience, mainly in telecommunications and new technologies. Since 2018 he has been heading the companies ADBK, d.o.o., and Marinrene d.o.o., that provide consulting services in electronic communications, new technologies, connectivity and telecommunication networks. In the last years he has been also heading the company Botera d.o.o. that deals with robotic automatization of processes. Between 2005 and 2015 he was the CEO of the Croatian company Amis Telekom, d.o.o., and between 2006 and 2016 he was also the CEO of the Slovenian company Amis, d.o.o. While he headed the two companies, they both introduced new services based on xDSL technology, developed IPTV, IP and fixed telephone services, and expanded their fixed networks. In 2015, when Amis Group was acquired by Telekom Austria Group, he became the CEO and managing director of Si.mobil, d.d., and was responsible for the organisational and technical integration of Amis into new group. In 2017 and 2018 when the new brand was launched and the company was renamed, he became the CEO and managing director of A1 Slovenija, d.d., and was in charge of the introduction of new services, and the support for the development of converged services and regulations, cost optimisation and efficiency.

In accordance with the mandate system defined in the Articles of Association, the new President of the Management Board shall nominate new members of the Management Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., within 15 days.

Telekom Slovenije, d.d., has reached a highly demanding period, as it will be facing the challenges of a highly competitive market, a dynamic and regulated industry, and investments in research and development and infrastructure, but at the same time also the need to reach efficient business and adequate financial results. Future operations will require agility, efficiency, development-orientation and in-depth knowledge of trends and opportunities in electronic communications, and therefore it is essential that the company is headed by a highly motivated team with proper expertise. The appointment of Boštjan Košak with his excellent knowledge of telecommunications, new technologies and development trends to the position of the President of the Management Board is according to opinion of the Supervisory Board a step towards strengthening the market and development potential of Telekom Slovenije Group.

With the appointment of a new President of the Management Board, the term of the President of the Management Board of Telekom Slovenije, d.d., Cvetko Sršen is terminated on 3 October 2022.

The notification shall also be available on the company’s website (www.telekom.si) for a period of at least 5 years.
