hereby notifies that at its Mozirje plant, which produces powder coatings and masterbatches, parts of the production and storage areas were flooded on 4 August due to the widespread flooding that affected Slovenia. The company has declared a force majeure situation for deliveries from this plant to its business partners. The company estimates the economic loss in terms of raw material and finished product inventories destroyed to be in the range of EUR 510,000 to EUR 620,000, while other potentially smaller losses cannot yet be assessed. The company will attempt to resume production on Monday, 7 August 2023, after inspecting the equipment and repairing malfunctions in several electric motors and pumps. Until normal conditions are restored and lost stocks of raw materials, packaging and products from the above business unit are replenished, it will not be possible to meet previously agreed shipments on time or shipments will be smaller than confirmed quantities. The Mozirje business unit contributed approximately 5.3% to the company's net profit in the 2022 financial year. The company did not suffer any damage during the floods at the Celje production site, where most of the production takes place.

Said event will not affect the timely fulfilment of other obligations of Cinkarna Celje, d.d. The company is disclosing this information as a public company in order to ensure equal information of investors.
