The second webinar of the year, " Overview of the events on the capital market in Q2", took place on Tuesday 7 July 2026 at 10.00.

At the beginning, we provided a brief overview of performance on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange in Q2, highlighting the most traded stocks and the returns of Prime Market shares. We also reviewed the movements of the SBITOP and SBITOP TR indices.

In the second part of the webinar, we discussed the key developments that shaped global capital markets during the second quarter. The main topics included geopolitical events in the Middle East and their impact on financial markets, the continued advancement of artificial intelligence, and the significant investments made by technology giants in AI infrastructure. We also covered inflation, interest rate expectations, and central bank policies, while reviewing market developments across Europe, the United States, and Asia.

We also examined the performance of traditional stores of value, such as gold and Bitcoin, and discussed the factors driving their price movements during a period of heightened uncertainty.

The webinar concluded with an overview of the Slovenian capital market. We reviewed the performance of the SBITOP Index, the business results of listed Slovenian companies, the ongoing development of Slovenia's capital market, and shared our outlook and the key factors expected to influence capital markets in the second half of 2026.
