Intereuropa signed the agreement on capital acquisition of the company Zetatrans AD Podgorica
Yesterday Intereuropa Group signed the agreement on capital acquisition of Montegrin company Zetatrans with their majority owners.
Zetatrans AD is a leading forwarding company in Montenegro with widespread network of 10 branch offices and logistical infrastructure on the entire territory of Montenegro. The company has 181 employees and it will achieve more than 7 million EUR of incomes in 2007.
Intereuropa Group is already present on the markets of South-Eastern Europe with his own network of subsidiary companies, while its competitiveness is strengthened by entering to new markets, among which the Montenegrin. As global logistics provider is already present in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, France, Germany, Austria, Ukraine and Russia.
Intereuropa is aware of the great potential of the Montenegrin market. Its presence in Montenegro will additionally reinforce its range of integral logistical services in South-Eastern Region. By that it will at the same expand its own business network and ensure management of goods flows from the Western and Central Europe to the markets of South-Eastern Europe. The president of the Managing Board, Andrej Lovšin acknowledges: "With the capital acquisition of the company Zetatrans in Podgorica, Intereuropa Group is the step closer towards the implementation of the vision and strategy of the Group till 2011, which the main objective is to become the leading logistics provider in South-Eastern Europe". Zvezdan Markežič, Deputy president of the Managing Board, responsible for the project, said: »The acquisition represents for Intereuropa an opportunity for further development of new logistical services, better exploitation of existing infrastructure and exploitation of advantages, provided by our business network as well as sinergy within the widespread company network.«
