Signed agreement for the transfer against remuneration of services of international package distribution under the UPS brand in the Republic of Slovenia to a new company of the UPS group of companies in the Republic of Slovenia

The managing board of the company INTEREUROPA, Globalni logistični servis, delniška družba, informs the public that the company INTEREUROPA d.d. on April 22, 2009 signed an Agreement for the Transfer against remuneration of a Part of an Undertaking within its UPS branch office to a new company belonging to UPS group of companies i.e. to the company UPS ADRIA (S) Ekspres, kurirske storitve, d.o.o.. This transaction has been entered into within the context of the UPS global policy which also includes establishment of UPS own business network in all EU Member States and establishment of all the conditions necessary for performing the services of international package distribution under the UPS brand using this network.

The said agreement is governing issues related to the establishment of all the conditions enabling the transfer of the performance of the services of international package distribution under the UPS brand in the Republic of Slovenia to the company UPS ADRIA (S) Ekspres, kurirske storitve, d.o.o., in particular questions related to the transfer of assets of INTEREUROPA's UPS Branch, which the latter uses in order to provide these services, and the questions related to the transfer of contracts as well as transfer of all employees in the previously mentioned branch to the new UPS company in the Republic of Slovenia.

The agreement is expected to be accomplished in June 2009.

The notice to the public will be accessible on the website of INTEREUROPA d.d. at the address www.intereuropa.si for at least 5 years following the publication.
