INI-1048/12 DATALAB, d.d., Ljubljana New Datalab Subsidiary in Albania
In accordance with the regulations of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and applicable legislation, Datalab Tehnologije, d. d., is issuing the following statement:
Datalab Tehnologije, d.d., Slovenia's largest vendor of business software is opening a new subsidiary, this time in Albania. The company is present in eight markets of Southeast Europe, its ERP system PANTHEON is used by over 28,000 users.
Datalab already has some operations in the Albanian market through the subsidiary in Macedonia. The new subsidiary should extend and complete our presence on the market with the full spectre of Datalab’s products and services and should be up and running until the end of the year. There are already some successful PANTHEON implementations in the country. Experience from those projects will be useful in the localization of the software and building a sales and implementation partner network.
Datalab AL is a joint venture partnership of Datalab d.d., Ljubljana with Swiss company Mattig Management Partners from Zurich. Mattig Management Partners has been established as a consulting company with a strong focus on controlling and risk management in 2006 as a sister company to Mattig-Suter and Partner, Switzerland, who is a leading auditing and accounting firm in Switzerland and present at the market for over 50 years. The group is present in Central and Eastern Europe at locations in Southern Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Albania and offers through independent subsidiaries services in the field of management consulting, accouting, tax and legal as well as auditing services.
The acting director of Datalab Albania will be Mr. Blerim Gjeladini. Mr. Gjeladini has gained experience in the academic field as a professor with assignments in accounting and e-government, also he is a member of he board of the Albanian diplomatic academy. Over the last years, Mr. Gjeladini gained experience as CFO of Helvetica Profarm, a leading trade and disribution firm in the pharmaceutical market. In this capacity he saw the market needs in Albania for professional ERP and accounting/reporting software solutions and gained hands-on experience in working on the daily information challenges as well as the reporting needs of Helvetica Profarms headquarter outside of Albania. Datalab MK from Skopje will provide assistance to the newest member of Datalab’s family.
Datalab and Mattig will also cooperate on other markets (Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova in the future) where Mattig has its accounting/auditing operations.
