This year, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange once again joined the traditional World Money Week movement, organised annually by the OECD. On Tuesday, 19 March 2024 at 9:00 a.m., the traditional educational webinar "Let's Go to the Stock Exchange" was held for high school and university students and anyone who wants to improve their financial knowledge. The aim of the event is to promote financial literacy and raise awareness of the importance of responsible behaviour and effective money management for a financially secure future. The event was held via the Zoom online platform.

Global Money Week is a global campaign to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy from early childhood and the gradual acquisition of knowledge, skills, relationships, and behaviours necessary for making correct financial decisions and achieving a financially secure future. This year's campaign theme, "Protect Your Money, Secure Your Future!", focuses on safe money management and emphasizes the importance of a responsible and informed approach to personal finances, as individuals need to be aware of potential risks in the financial sector and protect their hard-earned money.

The event was extremely successful, with over 360 participants including students, teachers, professors, and other interested individuals from various educational institutions.
