In its Strategic Business Plan, the Telekom Slovenije Group has set itself ambitious targets for further growth in telecommunications revenue and market shares, with a particular focus on making better use of existing infrastructure. As a reliable provider of infrastructure and digitalisation of services, we plan growth in the ICT and digital services segment and increase business efficiency by further digitalising operations, reducing costs and investing more effectively.
For 2027, we are planning sales revenue of EUR 780.6 million, EBITDA of EUR 276.6 million and net profit of EUR 68.1 million. All the financial indicators referred to above have been prepared in accordance with the currently applicable International Accounting Standard (IAS) 1 (Presentation of Financial Statements). Upon publication of the unaudited results of operations for the period January to March 2027, the plan for 2027 will be presented in accordance with the requirements of the new International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 18 (Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements), which will apply to annual reporting periods beginning on 1 January 2027.
At the Telekom Slovenije Group we plan to make investments of EUR 240.5 million in 2027. In addition to investments in the network, planned investments also include investments in programming rights and the capitalisation of leases in accordance with IFRS 16. In Slovenia, Telekom Slovenije, d.d., operates the biggest fixed and mobile networks. Our fibre optics network is already available to more than 518,000 Slovenian households. By constantly upgrading and modernising the network with cutting-edge technologies, we are laying the foundation for further development, strengthening our competitive advantage, and creating technological groundwork for the continued provision of secure, reliable, and modern telecommunications services in line with the latest trends and user expectations. As a result of the comprehensive modernisation process through which we are increasing our network coverage and capacity, 5G technology currently covers 99.3% of the Slovenian population.
With regard to the dividend policy, we are following the Strategic Business Plan and will allocate 30 to 50% of the Telekom Slovenije Group’s net profit for the payment of dividends, taking into account the financial position and the volume of investments.
The Telekom Slovenije Group Annual Business Plan for 2027 is based on available data, taking into account regulatory constraints and trends in the environment in which the Telekom Slovenije Group operates. In its preparation, we took into account analyses of the operations and market shares of comparable European operators, analyses of competition, development expectations, and trends in the telecommunications industry.
