Verdict in the dispute between Janez Suša, PhD, against Krka, d. d., Novo mesto

On 9 April 2009 the Higher Court in Ljubljana passed a judgment in the dispute brought by the plaintiff Janez Suša, PhD, against the defendant Krka, d.d., Novo mesto (hereafter Krka) regarding the compensation of the damages with the interest in the amount of EUR 2,786,540.75, where the Higher Court complied with the appeal filled by Krka. The appealed verdict from 3 April 2008 is changed and the claimed damages are rejected. This decision is final. The plaintiff can file extraordinary appeal at the Supreme Court against this decision.

The plaintiff has to compensate to Krka associated legal costs in the amount of EUR 15,800.25.

On 3 April 2008 the District Court in Ljubljana passed the verdict in this dispute whereby Krka was liable for the damages. Krka filed an appeal to the verdict of the District Court in Ljubljana. Krka published this information on 8 May 2008.
