Decision of the District Court in Ljubljana relating to active ingredient atorvastatin

Krka, d. d., Novo mesto (hereinafter Krka) announces to the interested public that on 19 August 2009 received the decision of the District Court in Ljubljana. The District Court in Ljubljana formally stopped the proceedings against Krka filed by companies Warner Lambert Company LLC and Pfizer H.C. Corporation relating to the alleged infringement of the patents EP 0 839 132 and EP 848 705. Both patents were finally revoked by European Patent Office (EPO). The plaintiffs revoked the lawsuit at the District Court in Ljubljana.

The District Court decision is not yet final.

Krka published the information about the revocation of the above mentioned patents on 14 May 2009.
