Krka, d. d., Novo mesto (hereinafter Krka) announces to the interested public that on 16 June 2010 the plaintiff, Novartis AG, Basel, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as Novartis), has withdrawn a motion in the Valsaden case pending in Slovenia. Novartis had commenced the litigation for alleged infringement of Slovenian counterparts of its patents EP 0914119 and EP 1410797. Krka has accepted the withdrawal.

With the withdrawal, all disputes between Krka and Novartis relating to products containing valsartan in Slovenia, marketed by Krka under trade names Valsacor and Valsaden, have come to the end.

Krka published the information about the disputes regarding medicines containing active ingredient valsartan on 28 July 2009, 3 June 2009, 24 February 2009, 19 February 2009 and 14 January 2009.
