On 25 May 2022 the Ljubljana Stock Exchange adopted the amendments of the Instructions for the Indices, Liquidity Criteria, Price List and Other Statistics, which introduce a change in the methodology for establishing an index weighting factor of an individual issue of shares within the index composition.

Under the changed provisions an index participation rate of an individual issue of shares will be capped considering the following limitations:

• 30% limitation will be valid for a share with the biggest value of free-float market capitalisation,
• 20% for all other shares.

The new instructions, that are published on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange website (https://ljse.si/en/rules-and-regulations/252), will enter into force and use on 1st September 2022.
