INI-498/24 TELEKOM SLOVENIJE, d.d., Ljubljana The Response of Telekom Slovenije to A1 Slovenija Media Reports Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the valid legislation, Telekom Slovenije, d.d., Cigaletova 15, Ljubljana, hereby publishes the following notification:
The media reported that A1 Slovenija was to file a lawsuit against Telekom Slovenije. Telekom Slovenije has not received a lawsuit, so we cannot comment on the details.
With regard to the media reports of A1 Slovenia, we would like to clarify that Telekom Slovenije is the only regulated operator of fixed broadband Internet access on the Slovenian market. According to the Agency for Communication Network and Services of the Republic of Slovenia (AKOS), Telekom Slovenije's market share fell from 36% in 2014 to 28% in 2024. Although Telekom Slovenije has not been the largest operator in this market since 2020, it remains one of the most regulated operators in the EU.
Telekom Slovenije rejects media allegations by A1 Slovenija about the alleged abuse of its dominant position in offering access to the wholesale market. We would like to emphasize that regulated prices for access to the copper network are among the lowest in the EU. The prices of all wholesale services charged to other operators are always subject to assessment in terms of compliance with applicable legislation and regulatory decisions before they come into force.
Once we receive the lawsuit, we will examine it in detail and respond accordingly in accordance with the rules applicable to companies listed on the first stock exchange.
The announcement will also be available on the company’s website (www.telekom.si), for at least five years after publication. Management Board of Telekom Slovenije, d. d.
