Based on the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, d.d., Ljubljana and applicable legislation, the company SIJ – Slovenska industrija jekla, d.d., Gerbičeva ulica 98, Ljubljana (hereinafter: SIJ d.d.) hereby publishes the following documents in the attachment:

1. the consent request letter (the “Request”) from SIJ d.d. to NLB d.d. as security agent under the ICA (as defined in the Request) dated 7 April 2026; and
2. a voting form relating to the Request (the” Voting Form”).

As set out in the Request and as announced by SIJ d.d. on 1 April 2026 on the SEOnet website (http://seonet.ljse.si/) and its own website, GLAS Trust Corporation Limited as the Common Representative under the SIJ9 Notes and the Notes Agent under the ICA is required to obtain the consent of the required majority of the holders of SIJ9 Notes (in their capacity of the Pari Passu Noteholders under the ICA) to the resignation of SIJ Americas, Inc. as a Debtor in accordance with Clause 14.8 of the ICA on the terms set out in the Request, and notwithstanding that it continues to owe liabilities which the ICA defines as Intra-Group Liabilities.

Accordingly, SIJ d.d. hereby invites each person, who is a holder of any SIJ9 Notes at the end of the day on 8 April 2026, to print out and complete the Voting Form and return it by e-mail to the following addresses: tes@glas.agency , tom.vanson@glas.agency  and a copy to project-sava@jadek-pensa.si , igor.malevanov@sij.si , sandi.svetek@sij.si pursuant to Request ideally by 16 April 2026, whereas all votes received by 21 April 2026 will be accepted. Likewise, the holders of SIJ9 Notes may address any questions relating to this announcement or the attached documents to the specified e-mail addresses.

The information contained in the announcement will be available on the official website of SIJ d.d. at www.sij.si  for at least 5 years from the date of publication.
