The webinar “Overview of the events on the capital markets in Q3” took place on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, at 10.00. We reviewed developments in Slovenian and global capital markets during the third quarter.

We began with an overview of trading on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, turnover and Prime Market share prices, as well as the SBITOP and SBITOP TR indices. We also reviewed the business results of Slovenian listed companies and developments outside the Prime Market.

The discussion then addressed geopolitical tensions, supplies of crude oil and refined products, and the impact of higher energy prices on inflation. We also covered central bank responses, interest rates, public finance challenges and differences between European and US markets.

A substantial part of the discussion focused on artificial intelligence, major investments in technology infrastructure and technology company valuations. We explored growth expectations, business results and investment risks in this rapidly developing segment.

Turning to the Slovenian market, we discussed company valuations and dividends, Vzajemna shares, individual investment accounts (INR) and Ilirika’s first domestic ETFs. We also addressed investment costs, financial literacy and the importance of long-term saving. The webinar concluded with expectations for corporate results and market developments through the end of the year.
